July 2020 Webinar Series on Climate Change, Environmental Security and Political Risk (CCS MAHE, PRISM & COVINTS)

The first webinar in the series (2 July 2020), ‘Climate Change, Environmental Security, and Political Risks’, organised by the Centre for Climate Studies (CCS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), in partnership with Political Risk & Intelligence Services Management (PRISM), COVINTS. In an engaging and interactive session, Dr. Sujatha Byravan and Dr. Sudhir Chella Rajan will share their insights on the topic, “A Time for Planetary Solidarity: Learning Lessons and the Need for Fundamental Change”. The session is moderated by Dr. Dhanasree Jayaram, Co-coordinator, CCS.


For the second webinar in our series (9 July 2020) ‘Climate Change, Environmental Security, and Political Risks’, the Centre for Climate Studies, MAHE, in collaboration with COVINTS and Political Risk & Intelligence Services Management (PRISM), COVINTS hosted Cleo Paskal and Ulka Kelkar for a session on ‘Geopolitics, Geo-Economics, and the Post-COVID-19 Green Recovery’. The event took place on July 9, 2020 during 6:30-8:00 PM (Indian Standard Time).

For the third webinar in our series (16 July 2020) ‘Climate Change, Environmental Security, and Political Risks’, the Centre for Climate Studies, MAHE, in collaboration with COVINTS and Political Risk & Intelligence Services Management (PRISM), COVINTS hosted Jai Kumar Gaurav and Lt Col (Dr) Tushar Ghate for a session on ‘Technology, Innovation, Climate Change, and Businesses’. The event took place on July 16, 2020 during 6:30-8:00 PM (Indian Standard Time).



In the fourth and final webinar in our series (23 July 2020) ‘Climate Change, Environmental Security, and Political Risks’, hosted by the Centre for Climate Studies, MAHE, in collaboration with COVINTS and Political Risk & Intelligence Services Management (PRISM), COVINTS, Dr Dhanasree Jayaram and Dr Vignesh Ram presented talks on ‘Political Risk, Businesses, and Climate Change: Cases from South and South East Asia’. The event took place on July 23, 2020 during 6:30-8:00 PM (Indian Standard Time).
